My wife is 7 wks pregnant and having sharp pain in the lower left quadrant of her abdomen. What causes this? - lower left back pain causes more condition_symptoms

My wife is 7 weeks pregnant and had a sharp pain in the left lower quadrant of the abdomen. What is the cause? The pain is at irregular intervals, and began approximately 5 hours. Is this normal during pregnancy? What can cause pain like this?

Hello, I am 6 weeks pregnant and experiencing the same kind of sharp pain and dull, my doctor told me it was normal because their bodies change all the space that should be supplied for the developing baby to stretch the ligaments, but if The pain is very strong and your wife is really pain (my pain is bearable) arrived at the hospital doctors immediately, even if it's really a shame, because it can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. Good luck! x

This is perfectly normal, says ligament pain.
This is happeneing because your child and your body grows and stretches to accommodate all the bands on the growing uterus. Not to worry, it comes to all, and they deteriorated during the biggest get:)

Ligament pain generally refers to a short, Sharp, stabbing or a longer duration, dull, that pregnant women often feel in the lower abdomen or in the bar to the ligaments around the uterus, pelvis. As your uterus grows during pregnancy, the ligaments are stretched and hardened housing and support. These changes can sometimes pain in one or both sides of the abdomen.

If the pain does not subside in a day should consult a doctor because this is something serious.

Take it to the emergency room. It could be an ectopic pregnancy, which can be fatal if medical attention is not given.

_edit_
Ligament pain is not dominant on the page. They are everywhere in the pelvic area. It is better to have it checked by a health professional should be discarded. Better safe than sorry later.

This could be just the uterus stretching, because he had a lot of pain in the first and second quarters, reaching the same thing, but it never hurts to call the doctor to make sure

Its just ligament pain. You need to come and go throughout pregnancy. It can be very painful. Its like the extended stretch of the ligaments of the uterus.

It could be ectopic, or may ligament pain, I would go to the doctor in case of an ectopic pregnancy fatal for the child and mother if untreated.

Sounds like ligament pain. The tapes are on the rise. If you have bleeding, but with a period like cramps, then you should worry.
